Lindsay Pollard has spent her professional life as a meeting and event planner.  She was heavily influenced by big tented backyard parties her mother used to throw and she was not allowed to attend.  Lindsay spent her childhood looking into the beautiful tents filled with flowers and music and beautiful people talking and drinking.  Ever since then she knew she needed to find a way to incorporate the joy of a beautiful party into her life.

She was on her way in the 5th grade when she was voted mostly likely to be a cruise director and was chairman of the Social Committee by the 12th grade.  When she graduated from college she worked planning conferences for legislators in Washington, DC.  She then moved to Boston where she planned multi-day conferences across the country for healthcare administrators.  This job led her to the Harvard Business School where she worked for 5 years planning parties for the business school alumni at venues such as the MFA, the Fleet Center, the Children’s Museum, the Science Museum, the Harvard Club, The JFK Library and Museum, The Joseph Moakley Federal Courthouse, the Crane Estate, and too many hotel ballrooms, bars and clubs in Boston to mention.

When she was hired by some of the Alumni to plan weddings in addition to her full time job as Assistant Director of Alumni Relations and the seed of a business was planted and eventually Arrangements became a reality.

When she is not arranging flowers, researching floral arrangements, visiting the flower exchange or giving unsolicited party planning advice Lindsay enjoys spending time with her two little girls Elliot and Libby, her husband Nick and their West Highland Terrier, Edgar.  She also loves skiing, the beach, walking and cooking for friends.
